Իրանի ԱԳ նախարարության պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ Էսմայիլ Բաղաին հայտարարել է, որ Թեհրանի պատասխանը Իսրայելի կողմց շաբաթ գիշերը հասցված հարվածներին լուրջ կլինի։

«Մենք անհրաժեշտ քայլեր կձեռնարկենք լուրջ պատասխան տալու համար, և, բնականաբար, մեր պատասխանը համաչափ կլինի հարձակման բնույթին»,- ասել է Բաղաին։

Ավելի վաղ Իսլամական հեղափոխության պահապանների կորպուսի հրամանատար, գեներալ-մայոր Հոսեյն Սալամին էր հավաստիացրել, որ Իսրայելը լուրջ հետևանքներ կկրի՝ շաբաթ գիշեր Իրանի ուղղությամբ հասցրած ավիահարվածներից համար։

«Ոճրագործության հետևանքներն աներևակայելի կլինեն զավթիչների համար»,- Սալամիի խոսքերն էր մեջբերել Mehr գործակալությունը։

Երեկ էլ Իրանի նախագահ Մասուդ Փեզեշքիանն է հայտարարել․ «Թեհրանը  համարժեք  պատասխան կտա սիոնիստական ​​ռեժիմի ագրեսիային»։
