Նա երկու տարի չէր եղել արձակուրդում: Շատ էր աշխատում, - պատմում է մայրը: Հոկտեմբերի 20-ին 47-ամյա Ինեսան պետք է վերադառնար Մոսկվա, սակայն չի պատասխանել զանգերին ու հաղորդագրություններին: Նրան մահացած են գտել հյուրանոցում: Նախնական տվյալներով, թունավորվել է գազից։

Ինեսան ծնվել է Իրկուտսկում հայտնի գիտնականների ընտանիքում և եղել է երեք դուստրերից մեկը: Նրա հայրը՝ պրոֆեսոր Վիկտոր Պապերնին, աշխատում է Իրքուտսկի պետական համալսարանի ընդհանուր և տիեզերական ֆիզիկայի ամբիոնում, մայրը՝ քիմիայի գիտությունների դոկտոր: Լյուբով Կոնստանտինովնան հիշում է, որ դուստրը դեռ դպրոցում ցանկացել է լրագրող դառնալ:

Ուզբեկստանի իրավապահները տեղեկացրել են, որ սկսել են քննել քրեական գործ՝ «Անվտանգության պահանջներին չհամապատասխանող աշխատանքներ կամ ծառայություններ մատուցելու» հոդվածով:
