Ռուսաստանը պետք է թուլացնի Արևմուտքը՝ ընդհուպ մինչև ԱՄՆ-ի փլուզում, կամ առնվազն լիարժեք հակակշիռ ստեղծի Միացյալ Նահանգներին, ինչպես դա ԽՍՀՄ տարիներին էր, հայտարարել է ՌԴ Անվտանգության խորհրդի փոխնախագահ Դմիտրի Մեդվեդևը։

«Ռուսաստանի նպատակը պետք է լինի ԱՄՆ փլուզումը կամ առնվազն լիարժեք հակակշիռ ստեղծելն ԱՄՆ-ին, ինչպիսին կար ԽՍՀՄ-ի գոյության և Վարշավայի պայմանագրի ժամանակ։ Այս առումով արդեն տեսանելի են նոր բևեռի հեռանկարները՝ ՇՀԿ, ԲՐԻԿՍ, տարածաշրջանային այլ միություններ, գլոբալ հարավի երկրների հետ հարաբերությունների համակողմանի զարգացում»,- Տելեգրամի իր ալիքում գրել է Մեդվեդևը։
