Մարդու իրավունքների եվրոպական դատարանի դատավորի պաշտոնում Հայաստանի կողմից առաջադրվող թեկնածուների ընտրության հանձնաժողովը Փաշինյանին է ներկայացրել դատավորի պաշտոնի հավակնորդների նոր ցուցակը, որում ընդգրկված են ՍԴ դատավոր Վահե Գրիգորյանը, Նորա Կարապետյանն ու Աննա Մարգարյանը։ Ապրիլին ներկայացված ցուցակի թեկնածուներից, ԲԴԽ նախկին անդամ Վիգեն Քոչարյանին փոխարինել է հենց Մարգարյանը։

Ի սկզբանե ակնհայտ էր, որ գործող իշխանությունների սրտի թեկնածուն տխրահռչակ Վահե Գրիգորյանն է, որը, 2018 թ. իշխանափոխությունից հետո դարձավ ՍԴ դատավոր, ամեն ինչ արեց սահմանադրական արդարադատությունը Հայաստանում բռնաբարելու համար։

Թեպետ Գրիգորյանին ՍԴ դատավորի պաշտոնում դեռ երկար ժամանակ կա, բայց նա նախընտրում է ՄԻԵԴ-ը։ Փաշինյանը նրան ՍԴ նախագահի պաշտոն էր խոստացել, սակայն ստեղծված իրավիճակում չէր կարողացել աապահովել նրա նշանակումը։

Ուշագրավ է, որ Վիգեն Քոչարյանի անունը երկրորդ ցանկում այլևս չկա։ Թեպետ նա էլ խնդիր չունի այս իշխանությունների հետ համագործակցելու, բայց, թերևս, հասկացել է, որ թեկնածուների ցուցակում ընդամենը «մասովկա» է և նախընտրել է չթաթախվել կեղտոտ մի գործընթացում, որի արդյունքներն արդեն իսկ պարզ են։
