Սիրիայի նախագահն Իրանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Աբբաս Արաղչիի հետ հանդիպմանն ասել է․ «Բոլոր տեսակի օկուպացիայի, ագրեսիայի և զանգվածային սպանությունների դեմ դիմադրությունը օրինական իրավունք է և վավեր է, եթե այդ դիմադրությունն աջակցվում է ժողովրդի կողմից ու հավատում է նման իրավունքին:

Տարածաշրջանի ժողովուրդների և երկրների ինքնիշխանության դեմ Իսրայելի բազմիցս ագրեսիաներին Իրանի պատասխանը հզոր պատասխան էր և դաս տվեց Սիոնիստական ռեժիմին, որ դիմադրության առանցքն ի վիճակի է զսպել թշնամուն ու ոչնչացնել նրա ծրագրերը»։

Նրա խոսքով՝ Իսրայելին դիմակայելու միակ ճանապարհը «սպանությունների և անմեղ մարդկանց արյուն թափելու հանցագործությունները դադարեցնելն է և շրջանի բնակիչների օրինական իրավունքները վերականգնելը»։
