Կարս-Գյումրի երկաթուղու վերագործարկումը տնտեսական օգուտներ կբերի ոչ միայն Հայաստանին և Թուրքիային, այլև ընդհանուր տարածաշրջանին. այս մասին թուրքական Anadolu գործակալությանը տված հարցազրույցում ասել է ՀՀ ԱԳ փոխնախարար Վահան Կոստանյանը:

Վերջինս լավատեսություն է հայտնել հայ-թուրքական ապագա համագործակցության վերաբերյալ։

«Մենք գիտենք, որ լոգիստիկ շղթաներից շատերը ներկայումս արգելափակված են կամ պատշաճ կերպով չեն գործում, և Կարս-Գյումրի երկաթգիծը կարող է նոր դարպաս դառնալ Հայաստանի համար դեպի Եվրոպա, Թուրքիայի համար՝ դեպի Կենտրոնական Ասիա, Չինաստան»,- ասել է նա։

Մինչդեռ հայ-թուրքական հարաբերությունների կարգավորման մասով՝ նա նշել է.«Շատ ավելին կարելի է անել, և դա կարելի է անել ավելի արագ: Ուղերձը, որը մենք միշտ փորձում ենք փոխանցել մեր թուրք գործընկերներին, հետևյալն է՝ գործելու ժամանակը հիմա է, պետք չէ ժամանակ կորցնել»։
