Կարեն Խաչանովը հաղթանակով մեկնարկեց Պեկինի մրցաշարում

Հայկական արմատներով ռուսաստանցի թենիսիստ Կարեն Խաչանովը հաղթանակով է մեկնարկել Պեկինի բաց մրցաշարում:

«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` Չինաստանի մայրաքաղաք Պեկինում ընթացող մրցաշարի մեկնարկում Կարեն Խաչանովը մրցեց Իսպանիան ներկայացնող Ռոբերտ Կարբալեսի հետ: Մոտ 2 ժամ ձգված մրցախաղում Խաչանովը հաղթեց մրցակցին երկու սեթում` 6:4, 6:3 հաշվով:

Կարեն Խաչանովը պրոֆեսիոնալ թենիսիստների ասոցիացիայի (ATP) վարկանիշային աղյուսակում 27-րդն է: Նա 4 անգամ հաղթել է միջազգային ֆեդերացիայի հովանու ներքո անցկացվող մրցաշարում: Նա Տոկիոյի 32-րդ ամառային Օլիմպիական խաղերի արծաթե մեդալակիր է: Հայկական արմատներով ռուսաստանցի թենիսիստի լավագույն արդյունքը եղել է 2019 թվականին, երբ նա հասել է Rolan-Garros-ի քառորդ եզրափակիչ և 2021 թվականին՝ դարձյալ քառորդ եզրափակիչ Ուիմբլդոնում, իսկ 2022-ին նա հասավ US Open-ի կիսաեզրափակիչ: 2023 թվականին էլ Խաչանովը դուրս մնաց AusOpen-ի կիսաեզրափակչից:
