Այս մասին Թուրքիայի նախագահը Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը հայտարարել է ԱՄՆ-ում ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի 79-րդ նստաշրջանում ունեցած ելույթի ժամանակ։

«Անկարան աջակցում է Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի միջև խաղաղ գործընթացին։ Հույս ունենք, որ այդ գործընթացը կավարտվի որքան հնարավոր է շուտ, և մենք կլսենք բարի լուրեր»,- ասել է Էրդողանը:

Նա անդրադարձել է նաև Հայաստան-Թուրքիա հարաբերություններին՝ ընդգծելով, որ երկու երկրները նույնպես ջանքեր են գործադրում կարգավորման համար։
