Իրանի հարավային Խորասան նահանգի Թաբաս քաղաքի ածխահանքում գազի պայթյունի հետևանքով 28 մարդ է զոհվել:

Այս մասին հայտնել է Իրանի Կարմիր մահիկի ընկերության ղեկավար Փիր Հոսեյն Կոլիվանդը։

17 մարդ տեղափոխվել է հիվանդանոցներ, իսկ 24 մարդ անհետ կորել է:

Պայթյունը տեղի է ունեցել երեկ երեկոյան տեղական ժամանակով ժամը 21:00-ի սահմանում Madanjo ընկերության հանքավայրում, որտեղ աշխատելիս է եղել 69 մարդ: Ածխահանքը գտնվում է գետնի տակ 250 մետր խորության վրա և ունի 700 մետր երկարություն։

Փրկարարական աշխատանքներում ներգրավված է 40 փրկարար։

Թաբասի ածխահանքը, որն ունի ավելի քան 30.000 քառակուսի կիլոմետր տարածք, Իրանի ամենամեծ և ամենահարուստ ածխային շրջանն է:
