Տարածաշրջանում արդեն խաղաղություն կա, բայց խաղաղության պայմանագրի համար կարևոր է, որ ՀՀ-ն վերջ դնի իր Սահմանադրությամբ Ադրբեջանի նկատմամբ տարածքային պահանջներին։

Այս մասին ասել է Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևն ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Անտոնի Բլինկենի հետ հեռախոսազրույցի ժամանակ։

«Պայմանագրի ստորագրման համար կարևոր է, որ Հայաստանն իր Սահմանադրությամբ և այլ օրենսդրական ակտերով վերջ դնի Ադրբեջանի դեմ տարածքային հավակնություններին, ինչպես նաև դադարեցվի անցյալի մասունք հանդիսացող ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի և դրա հետ կապված բոլոր ինստիտուտների գործունեությունը» ,-ասել է Ալիևը:

Իլհամ Ալիևը նշել է երկկողմ գործընթացի շրջանակներում ձեռք բերված դրական արդյունքները և ասել, որ այդ գործընթացն իրականացվելու է Կանոնակարգի հիման վրա։
