Հայաստանը կանգնած է պատերազմի առջև, բայց մեր բանակը կրճատվում է։ «Համահայկական ճակատ» շարժման առաջնորդ, պաշտպանության նախկին նախարար, գեներալ-մայոր Արշակ Կարապետյանն այդ մասին ասել է «Բաց Թիվի»-ին տված հարցազրույցում։

Ըստ գեներալ-մայորի, բանակը 1/3-ով արդեն կրճատվել է։ «Բանակում քաղաքացիական անձանց քանակն աննախադեպ շատացել է, զինվորականների իրավունքները, պաշտպանվածությունը հենց բանակի ներսում լիովին խախտված է։ Բանակն առ այսօր ոչինչ չի ստացել, բացի զրահաբաճկոններից և սաղավարտներից։ Անգամ փամփուշտ չեն ստացել»,- նշում է նախկին նախարարը։ Նա ասում է, թե բանակում ամեն ինչ վաճառվում է՝ տարածքներ, զորամասերի տարածքներ, որ մեջ-մեջ են անում։
