Աշխատանքային այցով Արցախի Հանրապետությունում գտնվող Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն այսօր մայրաքաղաք Ստեփանակերտում և Շուշի քաղաքում մասնակցում է Հաղթանակի տոնի, Արցախի Հանրապետության պաշտպանության բանակի կազմավորման և Շուշիի ազատագրման 25-րդ տարեդարձին նվիրված միջոցառումներին:

ՀՀ նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և մամուլի միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչության հաղորդմամբ, հանրապետության Նախագահը Արցախի իշխանությունների, ՀՀ կառավարական պատվիրակության անդամների, արցախահայության և տոնական միջոցառումներին մասնակցելու նպատակով Արցախ ժամանած հյուրերի հետ առավոտյան Ստեփանակերտի Վերածննդի հրապարակից տոնական միջոցառման մասնակիցների հետ հանդիսավոր քայլերթով այցելել է Ստեփանակերտի հուշահամալիր և հարգանքի տուրք մատուցել Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմում զոհվածների ու Արցախյան ազատամարտի նահատակների հիշատակին:

Տոնական միջոցառումների շրջանակներում Սերժ Սարգսյանը այցելել է նաև Շուշի՝ ծաղիկներ դրել Տանկ-հուշարձանի պատվանդանին, այնուհետև Վազգեն Սարգսյանի արձանի մոտ հարգանքի տուրք է մատուցել նրա հիշատակին: Հանրապետության Նախագահը ներկա է գտնվել Շուշիի Վ.Սարգսյանի անվան հրապարակում կազմակերպված տոնական համերգին, դիտել «Արվեստների և արհեստների քաղաք» ցուցահանդեսը:
