Ռազմավարական գործընկեր Ռուսաստանի  հետ հարաբերությունների ամրապնդումը Իրանի արտաքին քաղաքականության առաջնահերթություններից է։ Այդ մասին ասել է Իրանի նախագահ Մասուդ Փեզեշքիանը՝ Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության Անվտանգության խորհրդի քարտուղար Սերգեյ Շոյգուի հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ։
