Բրազիլիայում երկու աղջիկ է մահացել Օրոպուշ տենդից, հայտնում է հարավամերիկյան երկրի առողջապահության նախարարությունը։ Սրանք հիվանդության առաջին գրանցված մահերն են։

«Խոսքը Բաիա նահանգի ներքին շրջաններից 30 տարեկանից ցածր կանանց մասին է, առանց հիմնական առողջական պայմանների, բայց ծանր դենգե տենդի նման նշաններով և ախտանիշներով», - ասվում է վարչությունում:

Առողջապահության նախարարության տվյալներով՝ 2024 թվականի սկզբից Բրազիլիայում գրանցվել է Օրոպուշ տենդով վարակման ավելի քան յոթ հազար դեպք։ Դրանց մեծ մասը գրանցված է Ամազոնաս եւ Ռոնդոնիա նահանգներում։

Գերատեսչությունը նշել է, որ կշարունակի հետաքննել Սանտա Կատարինա նահանգում մեկ այլ մարդու մահվան դեպք։ Առողջապահության նախարարությունը չի բացառում, որ հիվանդը նույնպես կարող էր մահանալ Օրոպուշ տենդով վարակվելուց հետո։
