Տավուշցի լրագրող Ոսկան Սարգսյանը գրում է․

«Միջպետական ճանապարհի Կիրանց-Բաղանիս հատվածը` ադրբեջանական զինուժի վերահսկողութան տակ

Կիրանցի և Բաղանիսի ծայրերին բարձր ծածանվում է Ադրբեջանի դրոշը։ Դա հոգեճնշող ազդեցություն է թողնում Հայսստան-Վրաստան միջպետական ավտոճանապարհով երթևեկողների վրա։ Բաղանիս֊Այրումում հայկական դիրքերը,Ադրբեջանին հանձնելուց հետո, ճանապարհն ադրբեջանական զինուժի թիրախում է՝ մոտ 100 մետր հեռավորությամբ:

Հայկական և ադրբեջանական դիրքերը իրար շատ մոտ են։ Մեծ բեռնատարներն իրենց ծանրությամբ մեծ փոսեր են առաջացրել Ոսկեպար-Բաղանիս շրջանցիկ Հարսնաքարով ձգվող ճանապարհին,ուստի վարորդները գերադասում են այդ հատվածն անցնել սահմանագոտով՝ ադրբեջանական դիրքերի առջևով։

Մի հարց՝ Նիկոլ Փսշինյանն ինչի՞ դիմաց հանձնեց նախկինում ադրբեջանաբնակ չորս գյուղերի և Կիրանցի տարածքները,եթե Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի սահմանազատման հանձնաժողովների համատեղ աշխատանքի կանոնակարգն այդպես էլ չի հաստատվել»։
