Այսօր՝ հուլիսի 7-ին, Վանաձորի Հայքի հրապարակում անցկացվեց Վարդավառի տոնակատարությունը։ Հայտնում են համայնքապետարանի մամուլի ծառայությունից։
Վանաձորի համայնքապետարանի նախաձեռնությամբ տոնը նշվեց ավանդական ջրոցիով և փրփուր-շուով։
Վանաձոր համայնքի ղեկավարի պաշտոնակատար Արկադի Փելեշյանը խորհրդական Արման Բերնեցյանի հետ ներկա էին տոնակատարությանը։
 
Տոնակատարության համար օգտագործվեցին համայնքային հիմնարկի ջրցան մեքենան և հրշեջ ծառայության ջրցան մեքենաներ։
 
Որպես Վարդավառ հայտնի տոնը եկեղեցու հինգ տաղավար տոներից երրորդն է՝ Պայծառակերպության տոնը: Նախաքրիստոնեական շրջանից այն հայտնի է` որպես վարդամատն Աստղիկ դիցուհու տոն, Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցին այն տոնում է` որպես Քրիստոսի պայծառակերպության օր: Շարժական այս տոնը նշվում է 35 օրերի ընթացքում՝ հունիսի 28-ից մինչև օգոստոսի 1-ն ընկած ժամանակ:
