Վթարը տեղի է ունեցել Պետրոզավոդսկ-Սուոյարվի ճանապարհին։ Այնտեղ «Ֆորդ» մակնիշի ավտոմեքենան հարվածել է ձագին, որը դուրս է եկել ճանապարհի երթևեկելի հատված, որից հետո մեքենան հայտնվել է ճանապարհից դուրս: Մեքենան բախվել է ծառին։
