Որոշ շրջանակների համակարգմամբ մի շարք «լրատվամիջոցներ» և հայրենիքի պաշտպանության գործին երբևէ առնչություն չունեցած անձինք մայիսի 24-ին ԶՈՒ ղեկավար կազմի ներկայացուցիչների՝ գեներալ-մայորի զինվորական կոչում ստանալու կապակցությամբ առերևույթ կազմակերպված կերպով, իրականության հետ որևէ աղերս չունեցող մեղադրանքներ և զրպարտության տարրեր պարունակող հրապարակումներ են կատարել։

Պաշտպանության նախարարությունը խստիվ հորդորում է զերծ մնալ ԶՈՒ ղեկավար կազմին թիրախավորելուց, անհարկի, անհիմն շահարկումներից և տասնամյակներ շարունակ հայրենիքին անմնացորդ ծառայություն մատուցած սպաների վերաբերյալ զրպարտող հրապարակումներից:

Պաշտպանության նախարարությունն ուսումնասիրության առարկա է դարձնելու բոլոր նման հրապարակումները և ձեռնարկելու է անհրաժեշտ բոլոր իրավաչափ միջոցները, համապատասխան իրավական ընթացակարգերի գործարկմամբ, հանիրավի թիրախավորման ենթարկվող սպաների պատիվն ու արժանապատվությունը պաշտպանելու նպատակով։
