Մայիսի 8-ին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Արարատ Միրզոյանը հեռախոսազրույցը է Կանադայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Մելանի Ժոլիի հետ։

Այս մասին հայտոնւմ են ՀՀ ԱԳՆ-ից։

Քննարկվել են տարածաշրջանային հարցեր։

Նախարար Միրզոյանը ներկայացրել է Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև հարաբերությունների կարգավորման ուղղությամբ, այդ թվում՝ սահմանազատման գործընթացում վերջին զարգացումները՝ ընդգծելով տարածքային ամբողջականության սկզբունքին ու 1991թ. Ալմա-Աթայի հռչակագրին հստակ հանձնառության կարևորությունը։

Անդրադառնալով Հարավային Կովկասում կայուն տնտեսական զարգացման հեռանկարներին՝ ՀՀ արտաքին գերատեսչության ղեկավարը շեշտել է տարածաշրջանային կապուղիների ապաշրջափակման հարցում ՀՀ շահագրգռվածությունը և ՀՀ կառավարության կողմից մշակված «Խաղաղության խաչմերուկ» ծրագրի կյանքի կոչմամբ ընձեռնվող հնարավորությունները։ Արարատ Միրզոյանն ընդգծել է ծրագրի հիմքում դրված՝ ինքնիշխանության, ազգային իրավազորության, փոխադարձության և հավասարության առանցքային սկզբունքները։

Անդրադարձ է կատարվել նաև մարդասիրական բնույթի հարցերի։
