Վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ընդունել է Հարավային Կովկասի ու Վրաստանի ճգնաժամի հարցերով Եվրոպական միության հատուկ ներկայացուցիչ Տոյվո Կլաարին:

Հանդիպմանը մասնակցել է նաև Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում ԵՄ պատվիրակության ղեկավար, դեսպան Վասիլիս Մարագոսը:

Անդրադարձ է կատարվել տարածաշրջանային իրավիճակին, Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև խաղաղության պայմանագրի շուրջ բանակցություններին, սահմանազատման գործընթացին: Քննարկվել են Հայաստան-Եվրոպական միություն համագործակցությանն ու դրա հետագա զարգացմանը վերաբերող հարցեր:

Տոյվո Կլաարը ևս մեկ անգամ նշել է, որ ԵՄ-ն լիովին աջակցում է Հայաստան-Ադրբեջան բանակցային գործընթացին՝ համապարփակ ու տևական կարգավորման նպատակով, ինչպես նաև 1991թ․ Ալմա-Աթայի հռչակագրի հիման վրա սահմանազատման գործընթացի մեկնարկի պայմանավորվածությանը:
