Կիպրոսի Ներկայացուցիչների պալատը հարգանքի տուրք է մատուցել Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակին

Կիպրոսի Ներկայացուցիչների պալատն ապրիլի 18-ին մեկ րոպե լռությամբ հարգել է Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակը՝ խոստանալով պայքարել հանուն մի աշխարհի, որտեղ տիրում են խաղաղությունն ու արդարությունը, և որտեղ անցյալի վայրագությունները երբեք չեն կրկնվի: Այս մասին հայտնում է «CyprusMail»-ը։

Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի նախագահի պաշտոնակատար Զաքարիա Կուլիասն իր ելույթում նշել է, որ ապրիլի 24-ին ոգեկոչվում է Հայոց ցեղասպանության «սև տարելիցը»։

Նա նաև հավելել է, որ մի քանի տարիների ընթացքում միլիոնավոր հայեր «բռնի տեղահանվել են, ենթարկվել զրկանքների և զանգվածային սպանությունների»:

Զաքարիա Կուլիասը նաև հիշեցրել է, որ Կիպրոսի Հանրապետությունն աշխարհում երկրորդ երկիրն է, որը ճանաչել է Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը՝ 1975 թվականին:
