Մեղրիի հատվածում ապրիլի 12–ին զինվորական  «Ուրալ» մակնիշի ավտոմեքենայի վթարի հետեւանքով զոհված 20-ամյա ժամկետային Սլավիկ Վարդանի Վարդանյանը Վանաձորից էր։

NEWS.am-ին պատմեցին, որ Սլավիկը իրենից մեծ մեկ քույր ուներ։

«Խեղճ, հասարակ ընտանիք էր։ Վարձով էին ապրում»,- պատմեցին մեզ։

Ավելի վաղ գրել էինք, որ  Մեղրիի հատվածում տեղի է ունեցել վթար, որը խլել է 4 ժամկետային զինծառայողի կյանք. Արեգ Արմենի Քերոբյանը եւ Դավիթ Համբարձումի Հակոբյանը Գեղարքունիքի մարզից էին, Սլավիկ Վարդանի Վարդանյանը՝ Լոռու մարզից, Ժոզեֆ Մելքոնի Ազոլյանը՝ Արարատի մարզից։ 

Վթարից վիրավորում է ստացել 20 զինծառայող, որոնցից մեկի վիճակը գնահատվում է ծայրահեղ ծանր:
