ԵՊՀ Արևելագիտության ֆակուլտետի իրանագիտության ամբիոնի վարիչ Վարդան Ոսկանյանը գրել է․

«Իրանական տելեգրամյան ալիքները, հղում կատարելով ամերիկյան տեղեկատվության վրա, գրում են, որ առաջիկա 48 ժամի ընթացքում Իրանը հիբրիդային պատժիչ գործողություն կձեռնարկի՝ ի պատասխան Դամասկոսում իրանական հյուպատոսության վրա իսրայելական օդային հարձակման։

Խոսք է գնում այն մասին, որ իրանական հրթիռային և ԱԹՍ-երով հարվածները հասցվելու են Պաղեստինի բռնազավթված տարածքներում տեղակայված իսրայելական ռազմական ենթակառուցվածքներին՝ հենց Իրանի տարածքից, այլ ոչ թե Եմենից, Լիբանանից, Սիրիայից կամ Իրաքից, որտեղ գործում են Իսրայելին հարվածներ հասցնելու ներուժ ունեցող իրանամետ կազմակերպություններ։

Մինևնույն ժամանակ իրանական աղբյուրներով տեղեկատվություն է տարածվել, որ Իսրայելը տարհանել է Բաքվում և Աբու-Դաբիում իր դեսպանատների աշխատակիցներին՝ իրանական հնարավոր հարվածների վտանգը հաշվի առնելով»։
