Մարտի 17-ին Երևանում տեղի է ունեցել «Միասնություն» համազգային շարժման մեծ հավաքը, որի ժամանակ իրենց ելութներով հանդես են եկել շարժման ղեկավար Արման Վարդանյանը, «Դեմոկրատական այլընտրանք» կուսակցության նախագահ Սուրեն Սուրենյանցը, «Հայկական երազանք» կուսակցության նախագահ Արմեն Մկրտչյանը և հավաքին ներկա այլ անձինք։

Արման Վարդանյանն իր ելույթում նշել է, որ հանրապետության պատմության մեջ առաջին անգամ ստեղծվում է միավորում, որը նման չէ այլ միավորումների, որովհետև, ինչպես շարժման ղեկավարն է նշել, մինչ այսօր բոլոր միավորումները, դաշինքները ստեղծվել են, որպեսզի քաղաքացուց ձայն կորզեն:

Ըստ նրա՝ սա առաջին միավորումն է, որը գաղափարական է, և այն պետք է շրջադարձային լինի Հայաստանի Հանրապետության համար։
