51 կգ քաշային Եվրոպայի գավաթի բրոնզե մեդալակիր Բարեղամ Հարությունյանը հաղթանակ է տոնել Լիտվայում ընթացող Եվրոպայի կրկնակի և ԽՍՀՄ բազմակի չեպիոն Ալգիրդաս Շոցիկասի անվան 28-րդ միջազգային մրցաշարի 1/4 եզրափակիչում և ապահովել է առնվազն բրոնզե մեդալ։

1/4 եզրափակիչում մեր բռնցքամարտիկը մրցել է իռլանդացի Դոս Սանթոս Կլեպսոնի հետ ու հաղթել նկատելի առավելությամբ։ Հատկապես 3-րդ ռաունդում Բարեղամի առավելությունը մեծ է եղել և մրցավարները ռաունդը գնահատել են 5։0` հօգուտ հայ մարզիկի։

Կիսաեզրափակիչում Բարեղամի մրցակիցը Անգոլայի ներկայացուցիչ Մուհամեդ Համզան է։ Մարտի 22-ին ռինգ դուրս կգա նաև 71 կգ քաշային Հարություն Հակոբկոխյանը։
