«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է. «Ներքին գործերի նախարարությունը 89 հատ թանկարժեք ժամացույց է գնել, որոնցից 45 հատից յուրաքանչյուրն արժե 114 հազար 540 դրամ, իսկ 44-ից յուրաքանչյուրը` 128 հազար դրամ։ Ժամացույցների համար ընդհանուր վճարվել է 10 մլն 786 հազար դրամ։ Նկարագրությունից տեղեկանում ենք, որ ժամացույցները որպես պարգեւ տալու համար են նախատեսված:

Դրանք 925 հարգի արծաթից են, նաեւ բարձր հարգի ոսկով են պատված, մեխանիկական են, ապակին՝ շափյուղա, գոտին՝ բնական կաշի, իսկ վրան փորագրված է՝ «ՀՀ ՆԳ նախարարի կողմից»։ Նման նվեր-ժամացույցներ շնորհում է նաեւ ՀՀ վարչապետը»:
