Ինդիան Ուելսում (ԱՄՆ) տեղի ունեցավ կանանց մրցաշարի եզրափակիչ հանդիպումը։ Աշխարհի առաջին ռակետ լեհ Իգա Շվյոնտեկը հաղթեց աշխարհի իններորդ ռակետ, հույն Մարիա Սակարիին։

Հանդիպումն ավարտվել է 6:4, 6:0 հաշվով։ Թենիսիստները կորտում անցկացրել են 1 ժամ 8 րոպե։

Կանանց մենախաղի ընդհանուր մրցանակային ֆոնդը կազմում էր 8,9 միլիոն դոլար:

Նախկինում Մարիա Սակարին երեք անգամ հաղթել էր Իգա Շվյոնտեկին՝ Ռոլան Գարոսում, Օստրավայում և WTA Ամփոփիչ առաջնությունում (բոլոր հանդիպումները կայացել են 2021 թվականին): Լեհ թենիսիստը երկու անգամ ուժեղ էր եղել Հունաստանի ներկայացուցչից՝ 2022 թվականին Դոհայի և Ինդիան Ուելսի մրցաշարերում։
