Սիրիայում, համաձայն Իրանի և Սիրիայի զինված ընդդիմությանն աջակցող Քաթարի միջև պայմանավորվածության, սկսվել է պաշարված քաղաքների տարհանման գործընթացը:

     Տարհանումն իրականացվում է 4 քաղաքից: Դրանցից երկուսը Քեֆրայ և Ֆու քաղաքներն են, որոնք այժմ պահպանվում են կառավարական ուժերի, իսկ պաշարված են աշխարհազորայինների կողմից: Մարդկանց 80 ավտոբուսով տեղափոխում են կառավարական զորքերի իշխանության ներքո գտնվող շրջաններ:

     Մյուս երկու քաղաքները Մադայյան և Զաբադանին են: Դրանք պաշարված են կառավարական զորքերի կողմից ու գտնվում են աշխարհազորայինների վերահսկողության տակ: Այս քաղաքներից տարհանումը կամավոր բնույթ է կրում. ցանկացողնեը կարող են մնալ քաղաքներում:

     Սպասվում է, որ 4 քաղաքից մոտ 30 հազար մարդ կտարհանվի: Մարտին ներկայացված զեկույցում ՄԱԿ-ը հայտարարել է, որ պաշարված 4 քաղաքում դրությունն աղետալի է: Կազմակերպության տվյալներով` դրանցում 64 հազար խաղաղ բնակիչ կա:
