Օհանավանի վաղ միջնադարյան ժայռափոր կառույցից խնկի մնացորդներով խնկաման է հայտնաբերվել

Օհանավանի տարածքում բացված  վաղ միջնադարյան ժայռափոր կառույցից  հայտնաբերված 56 հնագիտական առարկաններից մեկը խնկի մնացորդներով խնկաման է: 

Պատմամշակութային արգելոց-թանգարանների և պատմական միջավայրի պահպանության ծառայությունից հայտնում են, որ այն թանգարանային առարկաների վերականգնման լաբորատորիայում մաքրվել է դարերի փոշուց։ 

Դարավոր պատմությամբ առարկայի մեջ պահպանված են եղել խնկի մնացորդներ, ինչը նոր հետազոտության առիթ է: 

Հնագետ Աշոտ Փիլիպոսյանի խոսքով՝ խնկամանը փոշով է ծածկված եղել և լավ է, որ մասնագետներն են աշխատել առարկայի հետ և  մաքրելիս 5-րդ  դարի խունկ են հայտնաբերել, որը շատ լավ բույր ունի։ 

Դարերի հեռվից մեզ հասած խունկը  «Պահպանության ծառայություն» ՊՈԱԿ-ը  առաջիկայում կուղարկի հետազոտության՝ պարզելու՝  ինչ խունկ է և ինչից է պատրաստված։
