«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է .«Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը երկար ընդմիջումից հետո վերադարձել է կառավարություն՝ իր նստավայր: «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրել էր, որ այս տարվա մայիսից Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը տեղափոխվել էր Բաղրամյան 26՝ նախագահական նստավայր, քանի որ կառավարության իր աշխատասենյակում վերանորոգումներ էին ընթանում: Թեեւ ավելի վաղ մեզ կառավարությունից հայտնել էին, որ վերանորոգման աշխատանքները պետք է դեռ սեպտեմբերին ավարտած լինեին, բայց վերանորոգման աշխատանքները, փաստորեն, երկար են տեւել՝ հասնելով մինչեւ դեկտեմբեր:

Սա իր հերթին անհարմարություն էր պատճառել նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանին, որը թեեւ օրնիբուն աշխատելու իր ձգտումով աչքի չի ընկնում, բայց դժգոհել էր, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը տեղափոխվել է իր նստավայր, ու ինքը ստիպված է եղել ժամանակավոր լքել աշխատավայրը: «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը ՀՀ կառավարությունից տեղեկացավ, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն արդեն վերադարձել է կառավարություն՝ իր նստավայր, ու իր գործառույթներն այնտեղից է իրականացնում»:
