Դեկտեմբերի 16-ին Հայ Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցին նշել է Սուրբ Հակոբ Մծբնա Հայրապետի, Մարուգե ճգնավորի և Մելիտոս եպիսկոպոսի հիշատակության օրը: Այս մասին գրում է Qahana.am-ը:

Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնից Քանաքեռի Սուրբ Հակոբ եկեղեցի է բերվել Սուրբ Հակոբի մասունքը։ Արարատյան Հայրապետական թեմի առաջնորդական փոխանորդ Գերաշնորհ Տեր Նավասարդ արքեպիսկոպոս Կճոյանի օրհնությամբ եկեղեցում մատուցվել է Սուրբ և Անմահ Պատարագ։ Պատարագիչն է եղել Տեր Ադամ քահանա Մակարյանը։ 

Պատարագի ավարտին հավատացյալներին հյուրասիրել են արդեն ավանդական դարձած հարիսան։ Սուրբ Հակոբի ամսունքը եկեղեցում է մնացել մինչև 17:00-ն:
