Երևանում ավարտին մոտեցող բռնցքամարտի ավագ տարիքի պատանիների աշխարհի առաջնությունում Հայաստան 10 ներկայացուցիչներ՝ 9 տղա և 1 աղջիկ, դուրս են եղել կիսաեզրափակիչ և ապահովել առնվազն բրոնզե մեդալներ։ կիսաեզրափակիչի 10 ուղեգիր, հայտնում է Armsport.am-ը։

Հայաստանի ներկայացուցիչներից այսօր քառորդ եզրափակչում հաղթանակներ են տարել Վաղարշակ Քեյանը (48 կգ), Արեն Խառատյանը (52 կգ), Արգիշտի Հակոբյանը (66 կգ), Սամվել Սիրամարգյանը (70 կգ), Ալբերտ Հարությունյանը (75 կգ), Տիգրան Խաչատրյանը (+80 կգ)։

48 կգ քաշային կարգում Հայաստանը ներկայացնող Վաղարշակ Քեյանը շատ վստահ հաղթանակ է տարել Դանիան ներկայացնող Ռիդա Տամիռի նկատմամբ։ Հայ բռնցքամարտիկն ամբողջ մենամարտի ընթացքում թելադրել է իր կամքը և առավելության հասնելով 5-0 հաշվով` դուրս եկել կիսաեզրափակիչ:
