Կարեն Դեմիրճյանի անվան մարզահամերգային համալիրում այսօր մեկնարկել է Եվրոպայի անվտանգության և համագործակցության կազմակերպության խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի (ԵԱՀԿ ԽՎ) աշնանային նստաշրջանը:

Համաժողովն անցկացվում է «ԵԱՀԿ-ն ճգնաժամի ժամանակ. վեհաժողովի դերը ներքին և արտաքին մարտահրավերներին արձագանքելու հարցում» խորագրի ներքո։ Օրակարգում են նաև կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարին ու փոքրամասնությունների պաշտպանությանը վերաբերող հարցեր։

Հայաստանում հյուրընկալվում են կառույցի 57 անդամ պետությունների պատվիրակությունների շուրջ 300 պատգամավորներ: Կքննարկվեն նաև Հարավային Կովկասի տարածաշրջանին առնչվող հարցեր: Թուրքիան, Ադրբեջանն ու Ռուսաստանը չեն մասնակցում միջոցառմանը։

Հունիսին Երևանը ԱԺ նախագահ Ալեն Սիմոնյանի անունից պաշտոնական նամակով դիմել էր ԵԱՀԿ ԽՎ նախագահին և գլխավոր քարտուղարին՝ հայտնելով, որ Հայաստանի խորհրդարանը պատրաստ է աշնանային նստաշրջանն անցկացնել:
