ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենը հանդիպում է ունեցել Չինաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Վան Իի հետ, որը դիտվում է որպես հաջորդ ամիս Չինաստանի առաջնորդ Սի Ծինփինի հետ հնարավոր հանդիպման նախադրյալ, հայտնում է AP-ն։

Կողմերն ուսումնասիրում են լարված հարաբերությունների կայունացման հնարավորությունը Ուկրաինայի և Իսրայելի հակամարտության ֆոնին։

Սպիտակ տունը նշել է, որ Բայդենն ընդգծել է, որ և՛ ԱՄՆ-ն, և՛ Չինաստանը պետք է պատասխանատու կերպով կառավարեն մրցակցությունն իրենց հարաբերություններում և սատարեն հաղորդակցության ուղիների բացմանը:

 

Նա ընդգծել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ն ու Չինաստանը պետք է միասին աշխատեն գլոբալ խնդիրները լուծելու համար։

Վանն այցով գտնվաում է Վաշինգտոնում, որտեղ հանդիպումներ է ունենում  ԱՄՆ բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաների հետ։ Հոկտեմբերի 27-ի իր ուղևորության ընթացքում նա երկրորդ անգամ հանդիպեց ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Էնթոնի Բլինքենի հետ։
