Հայաստանը չի կարող միակողմանիորեն հրաժարվել ռուսական բազայից մինչև 2044 թվական. Գյումրիի 102-րդ բազայի վերաբերյալ պայմանագրի գործողության ժամկետը որոշվում է թիվ 5 արձանագրությամբ, և այդ դրույթների վերանայման կարգը հենց համաձայնագրով է, և բոլոր որոշումներն ընդունվում են փոխադարձ համաձայնությամբ։ Այս մասին գրել է Известия-ն։

Ըստ թերթի՝ այս տեղեկությունը հաստատել են Ռուսաստանի Պետդումայում։

Ավելի վաղ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հայտարարել էր, որ Հայաստանում ռուսական ռազմաբազաները առավելություն չեն տալիս։

Հայաստանի վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը The Wall Street Journal-ին տված հարցազրույցում ասել է, որ Ռուսաստանը չի կատարել իր պարտավորությունները Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում Ադրբեջանի ռազմական գործողության ժամանակ։
