Հայաստանը պատրաստ է գազ գնել Ադրբեջանից՝ երկրների միջև քաղաքական տարաձայնությունները լուծելուց հետո։ Այս մասին Թբիլիսիի «Մետաքսի ճանապարհ» միջազգային համաժողովի շրջանակում ասել է Հայաստանի տարածքային կառավարման և ենթակառուցվածքների փոխնախարար Հակոբ Վարդանյանը, գրել է EAdaily.com-ը։

«Հակամարտության պատճառով Ադրբեջանից Հայաստան գազի և էլեկտրաէներգիայի մատակարարման դադարեցումը ցնցող իրադարձություն է եղել Հայաստանի գազային և էներգետիկ համակարգի համար։ Որովհետև այն ժամանակ մենք գազ էինք գնում Ադրբեջանից, իսկ հետո սկսեցինք Վրաստանի տարածքով նոր գազատարի կառուցումը՝ մեր երկիր գազ մատակարարելու համար։ Հուսով եմ, որ մեր տարածաշրջանում խաղաղություն կլինի, և մենք կկարողանանք համագործակցել և դիվերսիֆիկացնել մեր էներգահամակարգերը, ինչպես այն ժամանակ»,- ասել է Վարդանյանը։

Հայաստանն այժմ գազ է ստանում Ռուսաստանից և Իրանից։ Գազի դիմաց Իրանը էլեկտրաէներգիա է մատակարարվում Հայաստանից։
