Անհրաժեշտ է Հայաստանին հնարավորություն տալ պաշտպանելու իր խաղաղ բնակչությանը և ապահովելու իր սահմանների պաշտպանությունը։ Երկուշաբթի կպաշտոնականացնենք Հայաստանի կողմից ֆրանսիական արտադրողներից որոշակի քանակությամբ սպառազինության ձեռքբերումը: Ֆրանսիայի զինված ուժերի նախարար Սեբաստիեն Լըկորնյուի խոսքերը X-ի իր միկրոբլոգում գրել է Հայաստանում Ֆրանսիայի դեսպան Օլիվիե Դըկոտինյին։

Ավելի վաղ ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարությունը հայտնել էր, որ Լըկորնյուի հրավերով պաշտպանության նախարար Սուրեն Պապիկյանը հոկտեմբերի 22-ին աշխատանքային այցով մեկնել է Ֆրանսիա։

Նախորդ շաբաթ Ֆրանսիայի զինված ուժերի նախարարը Սենատի հանձնաժողովում կայացած 2024-ի բյուջեի քննարկման ժամանակ հայտարարել էր, որ Ֆրանսիան Հայաստանին պաշտպանական զենքեր է վաճառելու։
