Հայաստանի բռնցքամարտի հավաքականի անդամ Նարեկ Մանասյանը դարձավ Եվրոպայի գավաթի անդրանիկ խաղարկության ոսկե մեդալակիր:

Չեռնոգորիայի Բուդվա քաղաքում ընթացող գավաթի խաղարկության 92 կգ քաշային կարգի եզրափակիչում Մանասյանի մրցակիցը Իտալիայից Ազիզ Աբբես Մուհիդինն էր: Իտալացի բռնցքամարտիկը վնասվածքի պատճառով չներկայացավ մենամարտին ու հաղթանակը շնորհվեց հայ մարզիկին։

Ավելի վաղ Հայաստանի հավաքականից Ռուդոլֆ Գաբրոյանը դարձել է Եվրոպայի գավաթի արծաթե մեդալակիր, իսկ Ռաֆայել Հովհաննիսյանը, Ռուսլան Ասլիկյանը և Բարեղամ Հարությունյանը` բրոնզե մեդալակիրներ:
