Եվրոպական խորհրդի ղեկավար Շառլ Միշելը դեռ փորձում է Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարների հանդիպում կազմակերպել Եվրոպական քաղաքական համայնքի գագաթնաժողովի շրջանակներում, որը տեղի կունենա հոկտեմբերի 5-ին Իսպանիայի Գրանադա քաղաքում։ Այդ մասին Բրյուսելում լրագրողներին հայտնել է ԵՄ բարձրաստիճան ներկայացուցիչը, փոխանցում է ТАСС-ը։

«Հիմա հանդիպման մասին խոսելը վաղաժամ է։ Մինչև վաղը գիշեր հստակություն կլինի»,- նման պատասխան տվեց նա լրագրողների այն հարցին, թե ԵՄ-ն կարողացե՞լ է երկու առաջնորդների հանդիպում կազմակերպել։ 

Դիվանագետի խոսքով՝ ԵՄ-ն փորձում է «երկու գումարած երեք» ձևաչափով հանդիպում կազմակերպել` Հայաստանի, Ադրբեջանի, ինչպես նաև Ֆրանսիայի, Գերմանիայի և Եվրոպական խորհրդի մասնակցությամբ՝ «Բաքվի և Երևանի միջև հարաբերությունների կարգավորման գործում առաջընթացի հասնելու համար՝ չնայած տեղում տիրող բավականին լուրջ իրավիճակին»։
