Երկրապահ կամավորականների միության նախկին փոխնախագահ Ալբերտ Բազեյանը կալանավորվել է վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի դեմ մահափորձ նախապատրաստելու կասկածանքով, Այդ մասին հայտնել է նրա փաստաբան Գեորգի Մելիքյանը։

Մելիքյանը նշել է, որ դատարանը բավարարել է Բազեյանի նկատմամբ կալանավորումը որպես խափանման միջոց ընտրելու վերաբերյալ նախաքննական միջնորդությունը:

Ավելի վաղ ԱԱԾ-ն հայտնել էր, որ սեպտեմբերի 23-ին Բազեյանը և «Խաչակիրներ» ռազմահայրենասիրական կազմակերպության ևս 7 անդամներ ձերբակալվել են իշխանությունը զավթելու փորձի գործով:
