Լևոն Քոչարյանի փաստաբան Ալեքսանդր Կոչուբաևը ֆեյսբուքյան էջում գրում է.

Առավոտյան ժամը 12:00-ին ոստիկանության ծառայողները Լևոն Քոչարյանին դաժան ծեծի ենթարկելով բերման էին ենթարկել: Լ. Քոչարյանին խոշտանգելու հանցափաստով հանցագործության մասին հաղորդում էինք ներկայացրել: Քիչ առաջ քննիչը մեզ հանձնեց ձերբակալման որոշումը, որից պարզ դարձավ, որ խոշտանգող ոստիկանները հաղորդում են ներկայացրել, որ Լ. Քոչարյանը 4 կարմիր բերետի ծեծել է: Այս ցնդաբանության հիմքով նախաձեռնվել է քրեական վարույթ, իսկ խոշտանգման մասով տղերքը մտածում են: Սա իհարկե իրավական բեսպրիդել է: Լ. Քոչարյանը ծիծաղով մոտեցավ այս հարցին և կոչ արեց չհանձնվել ու շարունակել պայքարը:
