Միացյալ թագավորության խորհրդարանի Լորդերի պալատի անդամ, բարոնուհի Քերոլայն Քոքսն այցելել է Լաչինի միջանցքի սկզբնամաս, որտեղ մի քանի ամիս է կանգնած են արցախահայության համար անհրաժեշտ մարդասիրական բեռներով բարձված բեռնատարները, որոնց մուտքն Արցախ արգելափակել է Ադրբեջանը:

«Մենք գտնվում ենք շատ տխուր վայրում: Սա այն ճանապարհն է, որը կապում է Հայաստանը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հետ։ Իմ հետևում կանգնած են բազմաթիվ բեռնատարներ` բժշկական պարագաներով և սննդամթերքով լի, բայց Ադրբեջանը թույլ չի տալիս դրանց մուտքը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղ:

Սա շատ տխուր և միաժամանակ շատ վտանգավոր վայր է: Սա այն սահմանն է, որտեղից Ադրբեջանը հարվածում է հայերի վրա։ Այս ամենը մերօրյա ողբերգություն է»,- ասել է Քոքսը:
