Աշխատանքային այցով Իտալիայում գտնվող նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանը ՄԱԿ-ի պարենային համակարգերի գագաթնաժողովի շրջանակում հանդիպում է ունեցել ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր քարտուղար Անտոնիո Գուտերեշի հետ։

Հանդիպման ընթացքում նախագահ Խաչատուրյանը Գլխավոր քարտուղարին է ներկայացրել Ադրբեջանի կողմից Լաչինի մարդասիրական միջանցքի շրջափակման հետևանքով Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում ստեղծված հումանիտար ճգնաժամի սպառնալիքները։

Անդրադարձ է կատարվել հարավկովկասյան տարածաշրջանում առկա իրողություններին և զարգացումներին։

Զրույցի ընթացքում մտքեր են փոխանակվել ՄԱԿ-ի և Հայաստանի Հանրապետության միջև շարունակական համագործակցության օրակարգային հարցերի վերաբերյալ։
