ԱՄՆ աշխատանքային այցի շրջանակում` հուլիսի 18-ին, ՀՀ ԶՈՒ ԳՇ պետ, պաշտպանության նախարարի առաջին տեղակալ, գեներալ-լեյտենանտ Էդվարդ Ասրյանը հանդիպումներ է ունեցել ԱՄՆ զինված ուժերի միավորված շտաբների պետերի նախագահի տեղակալ, ծովակալ Քրիստոֆեր Գրեդիի և ԱՄՆ ռազմաօդային ուժերի շտաբի պետ, գեներալ Չարլզ Բրաունի հետ:

ՀՀ ՊՆ-ից NEWS.am-ին հայտնում են, որ հանդիպումների ընթացքում քննարկվել են հայ-ամերիկյան պաշտպանական գործընկերության ներկայիս ընթացքին, առաջիկա ծրագրերին, համատեղ միջոցառումների անցկացմանը, «Հրամանատրում առաջադրանքի միջոցով» հայեցակարգի և արհեստավարժ սերժանտական համակարգի ներդրմանը, ինչպես նաև ռազմաօդային ուժերի ոլորտում առավել լայն համագործակցության հնարավորություններին ու տարածաշրջանային անվտանգությանն առնչվող մի շարք հարցեր:
