Ղրղզստան կատարած աշխատանքային այցի շրջանակում Կարեն Կարապետյանը առանձնազրույց է ունեցել Դմիտրի Մեդվեդևի հետ։ Կողմերն անդրադարձել են հունվարին ՀՀ վարչապետի՝ ՌԴ պաշտոնական այցի արդյունքում ձեռք բերված պայմանավորվածությունների կատարման ընթացքին, մասնավորապես, հայ-ռուսական ներդրումային հիմնադրամի ստեղծմանը, Մեղրու ազատ տնտեսական գոտում ռուսական ընկերությունների ներգրավմանը, գյուղատնտեսական նշանակության տեխնիկայի մատակարարման հարցերին։ Քննարկվել է հայ-ռուսական տնտեսական օրակարգին վերաբերող հարցերի լայն շրջանակ։

Հայաստանի և Ռուսաստանի վարչապետերը վերահաստատել են պատրաստակամությունը՝ շարունակելու հայ-ռուսական դաշնակցային գործակցության ընդլայնման ինչպես երկկողմ, այնպես էլ ԵԱՏՄ շրջանակում առևտրատնտեսական հարաբերությունների ակտիվացման ուղղությամբ:
