ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարությունը կարևորում է Երևանի ու Բաքվի միջև բաց երկխոսությունն՝ առաջընթաց գրանցելու համար՝ ի պատասխան «Ամերիկայի Ձայնի» հայկական ծառայության հարցմանն՝ արձագանքել է ԱՄՆ արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչության պաշտոնյան, ով, սակայն, չի ցանկացել հրապարակել իր անունը։

«Ոգևորված ենք շարունակական ներգրավվածությամբ և առաջընթացով, որն առկա է խաղաղության համաձայնագրի շուրջ կողմերի միջև բանակցություններում, այդ թվում այսօր Քիշնևում տեղի ունեցած առաջնորդների հանդիպումը։ Բաց երկխոսությունը կարևոր է առաջընթացի համար՝ ներառյալ հեռանկարների լիարժեք ըմբռնումը: Կշարունակենք խրախուսել երկխոսությունը և աջակցել կողմերին, երբ նրանք աշխատում են երկարատև և արժանապատիվ խաղաղության հասնելու համար»,- ասված է պետքարտուղարության պաշտոնյայի պատասխանում:

Նշենք նաև՝ Մոլդովայում տեղի հայ համայնքի հետ հանդիպմանը վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հայտնել է, որ հունիսի 12-ին Վաշինգտոնում սպասվում է Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի արտգործնախարարների հանդիպում։
