Գարիկ Կարապետյանը դարձավ Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն՝ սահմանելով երկամարտի ռեկորդ

20-ամյա Գարիկ Կարապետյանը աշխարհի ու Եվրոպայի երիտասարդների ռեկորդով ոսկե մեդալ է նվաճել Եվրոպայի առաջնությունում:

Հայաստանի ծանրամարտի հավաքականի անդամ, 102 կգ քաշային Գարիկ Կարապետյանը երկամարտի 392 կգ արդյունքով (178+214 կգ) հռչակվեց Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն՝ սահմանելով նաև աշխարհի ու Եվրոպայի մի շարք ռեկորդներ:

Հայ ծանրորդը փոքր ոսկե մեդալ է նվաճել պոկում վարժությունում՝ գլխավերևում պահելով 178 կգ ծանրաձողն ու Եվրոպայի երիտասարդների ռեկորդ սահմանելով, իսկ հրում վարժությունում դարձել է փոքր արծաթե մեդալակիր՝ 214 կգ արդյունքով:

Երկամարտում Եվրոպայի փոխչեմպիոն է հռչակվել Վրաստանի ներկայացուցիչ Իրակլի Չխեիձեն՝ 387 կգ արդյունքով, բրոնզե մեդալը նվաճել է մոլդովացի Թուդոր Բրատուն՝ երկամարտում ցույց տալով 374 կգ արդյունք:

Գարիկ Կարապետյանը երկամարտում նվաճել է Հայաստանի թիմի 8-րդ մեդալը Երևանում ընթացող Եվրոպայի առաջնությունում:նում ընթացող Եվրոպայի առաջնությունում:
