«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է. «Արցախում ռուս խաղաղապահների հետ համագործակցության կենտրոնի ղեկավար Սերգեյ Մարտիրոսյանը, ով նաեւ ադրբեջանցիների հետ բանակցող խմբում է ներգրավված, օրերս ազատվել է ղեկավարի պաշտոնից։ Որոշ տեղեկություններով՝ ազատման պատճառը պետնախարար Գուրգեն Ներսիսյանի հետ ունեցած տարաձայնություններն են, Ներսիսյանը դժգոհություններ ունի, եւ որոշել են պաշտոնի իջեցում անել՝ նշանակելով Անվտանգության խորհրդի քարտուղարի տեղակալի պաշտոնում։ Մարտիրոսյանին պաշտոնանկ անելով, ըստ էության, զրկել են ռուս խաղաղապահների հետ ի պաշտոնե շփումից, գործընթացներին ներկա գտնվելու հնարավորությունից։

Նշենք, որ Սերգեյ Մարտիրոսյանը Վիտալի Բալասանյանի՝ ԱԽ քարտուղար աշխատելու ընթացքում համանուն վարչությունն էր ղեկավարում ու Վիտոյի հետ մշտապես ներկա էր լինում ադրբեջանցիների հետ հանդիպումներին։ Բալասանյանի պաշտոնանկությունից հետո, կառույցի օպտիմալացման հետեւանքով, այս վարչությունն առանձնացվել էր։ Բացի այդ, նա մտերիմ կապի մեջ է ռուս խաղաղապահների նախկին ղեկավար գեներալ Մուրադովի հետ, Մարտիրոսյանի որդին 44-օրյա պատերազմում անհետ կորածների թվում է»:
