«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է. «Սյունիքից տեղեկացանք, որ մի քանի օր առաջ Որոտան համայնքում սահմանապահ է ինքնասպան եղել: Ինքնասպան եղած անձն Աբովյանից էր, որտեղ երեկ հուղարկավորել են սահմանապահին։ Սակայն ուշագրավ է, որ պատկան մարմինները, այս դեպքում՝ ԱԱԾ-ն, այդ մասին որեւէ հաղորդագրություն չեն տարածել։

Սյունեցի մեր զրուցակցի պնդմամբ` թե՛ ԶՈՒ-ում, թե՛ սահմանապահ զորքերում ինքնասպանության դեպքերը վերջին շրջանում հաճախացել են, սակայն այս համակարգում տիրող անտերության եւ դրա արդյունքում արձանագրվող դեպքերի չնչին տոկոսի մասին է միայն պաշտոնապես հաղորդվում»:
