«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է. «ՀՀ իշխանություններն ի վիճակի չեն բացել Արցախի ճանապարհը՝ ո՛չ ռազմական, ո՛չ դիվանագիտական եղանակով։ Զենք գնել ու ներկրել չեն կարողանում, ադրբեջանական կողմի հետ բանակցություններից հրաժարվում են՝ Բրյուսելում եւ Մոսկվայում հանդիպումները չեղարկվեցին։

Ավելին՝ երբ միակ հույսը միջազգային ճնշումն է, իսկ դա ապահովելու միակ ձեւը ՀՀ դեսպանները՝ աշխարհի տարբեր երկրներում, նրանց կանչում են Հայաստան՝ իբրեւ թե ամենամյա դեսպանահավաքին մասնակցելու։ Դեկտեմբերի 20-ին Ջերմուկում կայացավ այդ հավաքը, որին մասնակցելու համար ժամանել էին բոլոր դիվանագետները՝ սկանդինավյան երկրներից մինչեւ ԱՄՆ ու Մերձավոր Արեւելք։

Սակայն հավաքն այնքան անասելիք է եղել, որ դեսպանները տրտնջում էին, թե՝ սրա՞ համար էին մեզ կտրում մեր գործից, բերում-հասցնում Հայաստան։ Ոչ մի նոր բան չլսեցինք»:
